Introduction

Polish is one of the most challenging languages in the world! It’s often considered a language with complex grammar and demanding pronunciation. But don’t let that discourage you! Polish is also full of beautiful sounds and unique words that quickly stay in your memory. There’s also a lot of beautiful Polish music to explore.

Roughly speaking, the average Pole actively knows (uses while speaking) no more than several dozens of thousands of words, while passively (understands but doesn’t use) around 30 thousand words.

An increasing number of people are learning Polish as a foreign language. The estimated number is around 10,000 individuals worldwide, with approximately one-third of them studying Polish at universities and language schools in Poland. Additionally, Polish is one of the official languages of the European Union.

Polish, alongside Chinese, Hungarian, and Finnish, is one of the most difficult languages to learn in the world, but we have our ways to tackle it!

The classrooms do not resemble typical school classrooms, although they do have tables and comfortable chairs. We want the classrooms to be cozy and evoke positive feelings, which is why you’ll find plenty of plants in them.

Not necessarily, but it’s possible. However, you will certainly be learning with a language specialist who is well-prepared in terms of expertise, passionate, and dedicated. They are constantly supervised by methodologists and trained in the methodology used by Ach i Och.

Certainly. You can come to us with friends and create your own group. If we receive another enrollment that matches the language and schedule of your group, with your consent and based on the feedback of the instructor and methodologist, we decide whether to expand the group. This way, a group that starts with two or three members at the beginning of the year may grow over time, but only if we believe it benefits all participants. If the payment range changes, the payments are updated according to the available pricing on the website.

There is a procedure that allows rescheduling classes. The course includes a specified number of sessions as defined in the agreement, which you should complete. According to the agreement, after the contract period ends, you have an additional 2 weeks to complete the remaining sessions. However, it’s recommended to make up for missed classes in a timely manner to ensure the instructor is available for rescheduling.

Classes can be rescheduled only in the case of individual courses, with a minimum of 24-hour notice.

In the case of group classes, the Student has the right to make up for an absence by attending another class designated by the methodologist or by participating in additional workshops organized by the School, provided that suitable dates are available and the School has been informed in advance and has approved the Student’s participation in the selected group. If, due to the Student’s conduct or learning-related difficulties, it is not possible to make up the missed class in this manner (in particular, if the Student refuses to cooperate, disrupts the class, or otherwise prevents it from being conducted), the School may instead assign the Student online activities covering the material from the missed class. Requests to make up missed classes should be submitted by email to achioch@achioch.com.

You don’t pay for days when there are no classes. The course fee is calculated as follows: Number of classes x price per 1 class / number of months. This gives us an equal amount for each month.

Yes, the rules regarding making up and rescheduling classes apply from the moment the contract is signed.

Missed classes can be made up for during the course and up to 2 weeks after its completion. However, it’s important to remember that scheduling alternative sessions depends on the instructor’s availability.

At any time, you can terminate the contract with one month’s notice. If you terminate the contract on February 15th, the notice period applies until the end of March.

Removal from the group is decided jointly by the course instructor and the metodologist, and only in justified cases, such as significant neglect of learning or persistent disruption of other participants during classes. Removal from the group is preceded by a five-step intervention procedure.

The processing of payments can take a few days. If you didn’t include the contract number in the transfer’s title, the payment might not have been attributed correctly or could have been assigned to another student or sibling. If your payment remains unassigned after a week, please inform us. The good news is that if you pay on time according to the agreement and include the contract number in the transfer’s title, you will definitely not receive a missing payment notification.
